Description
These Links are used to find more information about GUIDs (Globally Unique Identifiers). When selected, they will open the correct key in on of the following areas
  • HKCR\CLSID\
  • HKCR\TYPELIB\
  • HKCR\INTERFACE\
  • HKCR\Component Categories\
    · How to get it
    Navigate to any key that has a guid value as the name of the key or as one of its values.
    eg
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WORD.DOCUMENT.8\CLSID\
    · By right clicking on this key (or the default value in the right hand side) you will get an option "Show Value CLSID", which will show you the classid entry at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}.
